There is some magnificent and solid brush strokes within each of these and you've really touched bases on the detail on the parts that matter the most, especially near the eyes and in the face (this is evident in the second piece for sure). Great work, if I had to say anything that needed work, I'd suggest touching up the mouth a bit, at least on the first one, it has a stale appearance as opposed to the rest of the image which is beautifully done.
